History
A family story
2024
It is with great pride and thanks to the association of the two brothers Jean Sébastien and Félicien that 2024 gives Vidé Création the opportunity to win a Sculpture project in Tokyo, Japan. Symbolizing lightness and the link between earth and sky, the evanescence of forms and visual lightness perfectly match the gentle, spiritual spirit of Japan and the Japanese people.
2023
In 2023, the company became Vidé Création, ushering in a new era in which the vision of the two brothers is expressed with ever greater artistic freedom and sensitivity, and continues to expand internationally.
2005
In 2005, inspired by their vision as sculptors of light and their unique know-how, the two brothers founded Thierry Vidé Design, a workshop for the creation of exceptional lighting fixtures. This was the culmination of 30 years of technical and aesthetic research into materials and light.
Since then, they have participated in prestigious projects in collaboration with leading architects, engineers and project managers, deploying their universe of light in the most prestigious settings: yachts, private mansions and museums such as the Grand Palais restaurant in Paris.
1998
The “Design” story began in 1998, when Jean-Sébastien created and edited the first contemporary lighting fixtures alongside his father, Thierry Vidé, an internationally renowned artist and sculptor with a passion for transparency, space and materials. He is joined by his brother Félicien to develop this new luxury design branch and make this art form more accessible.
1987
